After the Book Expo and domain transfer, I'll have much more time for answering your email and calls in more detail. :: Temporary Outages If email happens to bounce to me or you're unable to access one of our sites, keep trying. :::: DEEP SLEEP WHILE YOU'RE TRAVELING :: Travel Season is Near Well it's almost that time of the year again. When our summer travels begin. :: Sleep Challenges Sleeping in different places presents some great challenges. Because we're in a different setting than usual our excitement levels increase, which can sometimes cause lymph fluid to stagnate. Stagnant lymph fluid is the primary cause of insomnia or shallow sleep. One or more of the following experiments may keep your lymph fluid flowing, your sleep deep and your mood peaked! Enjoy! :: Experiments To make your sleeping on the road deep and pleasant try: 1) Get a bottle of Young Living Purification and mix a few drops in a spray bottle with water. When you arrive at your destination spray down every surface. Pull back covers and spray down bedding. 2) When traveling by air take Young Coconut Water, fresh green juice (celery, spinach, parsley, cucumber) or grapefruit juice with you. The best anti-jet lag technology available. 3) I take 6 Caps of "Vitalize" before bed and upon waking. Be prepared. If you're being kept awake by stagnant lymph, taking "Vitalize" will cause immediate sleep, as it causes your "lymph to drop", or flush. Your best choice is to be ready to sleep when you take this, so be complete with your daily activities and operating any heavy equipment. :-) 4) Also a good set of ear muffs or high quality foam ear-plugs are great for noisy hotel guests our rowdy relatives. :-) :::: TIPS & TRICKS FOR NEUTRALIZING ALLERGIES :: Allergy Season Again It's that time in Texas again. Some experiments you can try to neutralize allergic symptoms are: 1) Rainbow Bee Pollen (http://www.radicalhealth.com/order/) or other 100% Raw, unprocessed pollen. There is a myth pollen should be from a local source. This may be of some slight benefit and of more importance is the abundance of amino acids, enzymes, rutin and anti-oxidants which occur in such rare combination in Bee Pollen. 2) 3-6 caps of Omegazyme and Primal Defense. 3) Ramp up on your Uropathy. 4) Yoga Neti Yoga Neti is the practice of inserting objects into the nose for health benefits. When sinus congestion and inflammation intensifies to a certain level, the sinus drainage values get locked shut. This is where most people's sinus pain comes from. Recently this happened to me also (that'll teach me to eat more Bee Pollen :-). To solve the problem, I put a finger cot (strong balloon used primarily to check for prostrate challenges) on the end of a blood pressure bulb. Secure with dental floss and inflate to ensure a tight seal. Snake the finger cot into the nasal passage with a tooth pick. Be very gentle and go slow. Lock the valve on the bulb, so it retains air. Take a deep breath and hold. Inflate the bulb and hold as long as comfortable. This adjusts the sinuses, like a Chiropractor adjusts bones. The result is: The sinus drainage valves are opened manually. Holding pressure allows free flowing drainage. Be very gentle using this procedure. I recommend you find a Chiropractor nearby who has mastered this technique as the first few times are much better done by another party. After that, you may be adventurous enough to do it yourself. :::: GOURMET LIVE FEAST RECIPES :: 15 Minute Gourmet Delights This Sunday morning the house was quiet and all Yemiah's goodies were consumed. Very sad. :-) A quick glance in the freezer and at the herb garden inspired me to whip up some treats. Since working on a book proposal was my priority, my kitchen time had to be short. 45 minutes later three fantastic dishes were laid out, the kitchen clean and I was back to my proposal with my feast. Yum! It occurred to me, if you knew what I did you could have your own 15 Minute Gourmet Live Feasts also. Here are the three dishes I prepared. Some recipes I've mentioned before. This time you'll get step-by-step instructions. All these make great first dishes if you're attending a Live Feast in your area. Each of these dishes was inspired by prepping dishes with Yemiah. I'm her little kitchen boy. :-) :: Super-charging Your Meals You may also experiment with super-charging your meals. To turn your meal into jet fuel, experiment with the following: - 15 minutes before eating - 4-12 droppers Daytime Minerals - 2 Perfect Food - 2 Living Multi - With or directly after meal - 3 OmegaZyme - 3 Primal Defense - 3 Zero Gravity (burn fat as energy, rather than storing) - 3 Clear Energy (brain food) Be prepared for a wild ride! :: Turbo Sweet Spicy Salsa - Note the abundance of silica, sulfur and Vitamin C - Beware adding radishes intensifies the garlic and habanero. - Ingredients - 1 large red bell pepper (silica) - 2 large red radishes (silica, sulfur/MSM) - 2 large sweet onions (silica, sulfur/MSM) - 2 large garlic cloves (sulfur/MSM) - 8 romas (silica, Vitamin C) - 2 lemons or limes (Vitamin C) - 1 habanero pepper (silica, sulfur/MSM, Vitamin C) - Salt to taste - Equipment - Cuisinart - Step-By-Step 1) Wrap a plastic bag over your hand to hold the habanero. Cut off the top and dig out the seeds with the knife tip. Toss the habanero in the Cuisinart. Wipe the blade of the knife with a paper towel thoroughly. Be careful with the pepper oil. It stays on skin for days. If you get it in your eye, dilute it with olive oil. If you put water in your eye, this will intensify the heat. 2) Toss the garlic, radishes in Cuisinart too. 3) Roll the lemons or limes under your foot for 20-30 times to release the juices and make juicing a few seconds. Cut over a bowl and squeeze. Pick out any seeds, add to Cuisinart and turn on till these ingredients are liquefied. Pour back in your lemon juice bowl. 4) Quarter one onion and four romas in Cuisinart. Hit pulse until coarsely chopped, then pour in a container. Repeat with other onion and romas. 5) Pour lemon bowl liquid (Habanero, radishes, garlic, juice) evenly over mixture in container. While mixing, add salt to taste. 6) Rinse Cuisinart and utensils with hot water. :: Heavenly Cucumber Herb Pesto - Ingredients - 1 cup of various herbs - 1/2 large cucumber - 1 cup of dried (raw or activated) nuts - Salt to taste - 1 lemon - Equipment - Cuisinart - Step-By-Step 1) Gather herbs from your garden or grocer. Heavy on the Basil. My favorite is 3/4 Basil with the rest made up of Parsley, Oregano and Rosemary. To liberate the leaves off the Oregano and Rosemary, pull backwards (from end closest to root to tip) with thumb and finger. One second should clear a stem of its leaves. 2) Roll the lemon as above. Add lemon juice, herbs and cucumber to Cuisinart. Liquefy. 3) Add nuts. My favorite is 3/4 Pine nuts, with some Macadamia and Brazil Nuts. Blend till smooth. 4) Rinse Cuisinart and utensils with hot water. :: Deep Sea Guacamole - Ingredients - 1 Avocado - 6-12 Kelp/Dulse Capsules - Spices to taste - Turbo Sweet Spicy Salsa - Salt to taste - Equipment - Fork - Step-By-Step 1) Mash Avocado in a bowl. 2) Open Kelp/Dulse capsules and sprinkle evenly over avocado. 3) Scoops of Turbo Sweet Spicy Salsa to taste. 4) Spices to taste. Cayenne. Fresh cracked black pepper. Whatever entices your palette. 5) Mix. 6) Rinse fork with hot water. :: Gourmet Sushi - Ingredients - All of above - Raw Nori or Lettuce Leaves - Wild herbs - Greens - Celery - Equipment - Knife - Step-By-Step 1) Spread any or all the above recipes on Nori or Lettuce Leaves. 2) Add greens and herbs. 3) Roll and eat! 4) Have celery on the side or cut to length of Nori and roll in with other ingredients. 5) Rinse knife with hot water. There you have it. 15 minutes for each or 45 minutes for all! Fast Live Food Gourmet is the best.
