~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mercury Filing Removal ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Many people have questions about mercury filing removal, so I'll share my story about this. In the late 80s I became aware of problems resulting from mercury/nickel filings and vaccines which use mercury/nickel as preservatives. It took almost 10 years of interviewing to find a Dentist I felt had enough skill and experience to do the job correctly. Why 10 years? It took so long because removing amalgam filings (mercury, nickel and other heavy metals) incorrectly is far worst than leaving them in place. When amalgam filings are drilled, they produce a cloud of toxic heavy metal gas, similar to tires revolving quickly over pavement throwing off cadmium clouds... which is much more toxic than mercury filings. You do drive with your windows up in traffic, yes? The Dentist I selected was Dr. Dan Rosen, who has since transitioned, and I'll remember my first conversation with him as best I can. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mercury Removal Dentist Interview ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ David: How many Mercury filings to you have in your mouth? Dr. Dan: None. Nor does my wife or children. It's also a condition of employment here, to remove all amalgam filings. In fact, there is only one person here with filings, because she just started. She went to work on Monday and she's scheduled to start removal Friday. David: Do you check mercury vapor levels to determine if extraction is necessary? Dr. Dan: No. I use to and mercury is very soft, so if you chew a piece of gum you're mercury levels can exceed 500 times OSHA levels. If you desire testing I can point you to a lab... and... if you have mercury in your mouth, it's best for it to come out a quickly as possible. David: What extraction method do you use? We use three people. I install a water dam, which stretches a rubber dam across the throat. We fill your mouth with water. Then one person handles water, one extracts water and I drill. This is critical, otherwise everyone in the room can get mercury poisoning. David: How many visits are required? Dr. Dan: At least four, one for each of your four mouth quadrants - upper/lower/left/right. Doing too much extraction at once can tax the body's elimination system and allow mercury to be absorbed. By doing only one quadrant at a time, this allows the body to better and easier detox. David: How about after care? Dr. Dan: The most important part of after care is a diet rich in Vitamin-C as this chelates (bonds) with mercury, so it can be safely detoxed out of the body without being absorbed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ My Procedure ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dr. Dan and I saw each other twice a week for six weeks. He removed all my amalgams, replacing them with ceramic inlays with the least toxic glue available at the time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My Recommendation ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Look for a Dentist as clear as Dr. Dan and you're mercury removal will be smooth and easy.
