~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Your Holiday Survival Kit ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's the holiday season again and I'm finally writing this article after thinking about it for five years. You'll also find several other interesting new additions to our site: Yemiah on Gratitude as a Sustaining Force http://www.radicalhealth.com/issues/2006-11-21:gratitude.txt Version 21x Coco Chai Ingredient List http://RadicalHealth.com/order The Trouble With Tablets http://www.radicalhealth.com/issues/2006-11-21:tablets.txt David's New Bio Page http://RadicalHealth.com/david/bio.html Along with the joy of sharing time with relatives and friends there are also those fun little challenges of traveling, sleeping in different environments and a variety of entertaining stresses which leave many depleted, blue or sick during and after the holiday season. Here are a few items you may desire to pack in your own personal Holiday Survival Kit: - Coffee, The Upscale, High Octane Way - Cooked Food Antidotes - Travel & Snack Foods - Super Immune Boosters - Deep Sleep Kit - Mood Rescue ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Administrivia ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Articles : join@RadicalHealth.com Unsubscribe : leave@RadicalHealth.com Austin Events: austin@RadicalHealth.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Survival Kit, The Easy Way ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ During a quick proof of this article I counted 12 items mentioned, so to simplify ordering you'll find Your Holiday Survival Kit in our catalog now: http://RadicalHealth.com/order and your highest quality, price optimal source of Chocolate Nibs and Goji Berries is Avena Originals: http://RadicalHealth.com/avena/join ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Coffee, The Upscale, High Octane Way ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My family swills coffee like water. My grandparents use to start the first pot around 4AM in the morning, continue till breakfast and after every meal to escape food coma. Many people "get clean" from coffee only to "fall off the wagon" visiting with friends and relatives during the holidays. Here's my suggestion for enjoying and sharing a new type of coffee experience those you love. Make a blender of Coco Chai, add some of our cold processed Guarana, then heat slightly and serve warm. Add 1T Guarana for a Black Coffee + Cream taste. Add 2-3T Guarana for a Double Espresso Latte taste. Coco Chai flavor components amplify into intense coffee flavors when Guarana is increased. I designed Coco Chai like this so a coffee substitute could be manufactured by increasing levels of three components. And Guarana is the main component which expands Coco Chai into an intense coffee-esque flavor. Also the cold processed caffeine alkaloids and other botanicals work exactly opposite chemicalized, nuclear heated caffeine. Commercial caffeine stimulates by constricting fluid passages, especially micro-fine fluid passages in our brains. In essence, bodies are made to feel threated by high toxicity. This in turn spikes adrenalin, hence the high... until the crash or worse. Natural State (cold processed) caffeine is both adaptagenic and dilating (opening/expanding rather than constricting). Adaptogens are botanicals which adapt (act differently) depending on what's most required for a person at any given moment. Final outcome is influenced by both biological and intentional/emotional components. In other words, if a person's body is about to crash or get sick and they eat natural state Guarana, there's a good chance they'll pass out or become very sleepy. And if the person is very focused on doing some activity, their focus/intention, can override their biological imperative and convert the nutrients into jet fuel, rather than regenerative fuel. This odd capability becomes extremely clear after living a few days on only Coco Chai. One suggestion though. When serving this type of brew to your friends and relatives for the first time, serve in small glasses which create an unconscious queue for them to sip slowly. Drinking 16 oz. of piping hot Coco Chai may send a person to bed for a long nap or have them dragging you all over their city in a site-seeing frenzy. Best to start slow. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cooked Food Antidotes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Most people tend to eat a bit more cooked food during the holiday long. And for those laughing right now, way more cooked food. Rather than feeling bloated or in perpetual food coma for the next few weeks, just ramp up on Digest and Salivarius. Enjoying this combo of enzymes and probiotics covers a multitude of sins. And here's a secret, rather than taking a handful of each at every meal, enjoy one Digest, one Salivarius and one Crystal Manna with and between each meal. This combo will have you burning through cooked food and barely even noticing it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Travel & Snack Foods ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In my recent article: Four Portable Power Foods http://www.radicalhealth.com/issues/2006-11-17:power-foods.txt several of my favorite portable foods are discussed. Here's a recap: 1) Upscale Just Veges (c) These are low temperature, dehydrated fruits and veges which you can pickup from Yemiah's Web site here: http://RadicalHealth.com/food 2) Raw Chocolate Nibs and Goji Berries Talk about power foods. Handfuls of these are pure energy and massive immune boosters to keep you at your peak all holidays. Here are the highest quality, best prices I've found to date: Avena Originals http://RadicalHealth.com/avena/join ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Super Immune Boosters ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All the items in this article will boost immune strength and response speed and there are two other important items: 1) Vitamin B Complex 2) Vitamin C When I talk about these vitamins, I'm speaking of natural state, cold processed, food based Vitamin B & C. For these I'd suggest Dr. Bob's Nano B and Pure Radiance C. As important as using these food based vitamins is... Just as important is avoiding hidden synthetic vitamins in processed foods, especially ascorbates/ascorbic acid which can take down immunity faster than the Titanic. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Deep Sleep Kit ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My Deep Sleep Kit has two items: 1) Foam Ear Plugs 2) Vitalize Ear Plugs you can pickup at most sporting goods stores for $5/12 sets or at most Drugstores for $5/1 set. I prefer sporting goods stores as their Ear Plugs are cheaper, better quality and usually block a higher decibel (loudness) level of noise. These are great for plane trips and sleep in different places which may be unusually noisy. Vitalize breaks up lymphatic blockages which increase with stress and many environmental components like car, train, jet exhaust and special relatives. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Mood Rescue ~~~~~~~~~~~ And for those few who dread the holidays because of that one relative who's driven you to consider homicide or a trip to the other side of the planet, in the past, here's how to put a silly grin on your face for the next six weeks. Along with your Digest/Salivarius/Crystal Manna with and between every meal keep a bottle of Coco Chai with you and sip all day long. If you're in a situation where making Coco Chai is challenging, then here's a little secret you can use instead. One of the primary "feel good" chemicals in chocolate is PEA which is short for b-Phenylethylamine (fee-nal-ethyl-amine), better known as: The Love Drug This is the primary chemical component of our feeling "in love". If having Coco Chai continually is a challenge, pick up a few bottles of: Blue Manna Capsules to hold you over the holidays as: Blue Manna is 50 times higher in PEA than Chocolate You might even spike your annoying relatives warm Coco Chai with a few Blue Manna Caps. The Guarana will mask the Blue Manna flavor and those relatives will mellow our quicker than sled through the snow to Grandmas house.
